The Spencer Outlet Centre, officially opened on the 5th December 2013, is a major refurbishment to the Spencer Street DFO, that AHQ were instrumental in designing in 2006.  This refurbishment saw a large expanse of mall removed from the centre, with 4 new Mini Major stores applied to a new mall.

The client brief was to provide bold and engaging mall features which offered the tenants maximum frontage, outlook and mall activation.

A new and fresh set of branded graphics to present the new centre were also adopted, which have re-engaged and reinvigorated a community of CBD shoppers.

New architectural features have initiated the activation of both the new mall and its revived activities with a vibrant and active Melbourne
