The historic role of this site is an industrial precinct, with a demographic that matches the previous uses of the site. So an architecture that is generally consistent and similar in nature to the proposed uses is an obvious goal for us to pursue. Therefore, we have utilised these parallels to create a working mixed use village which incorporates both staple shopping, dining, homemaker and entertainment use offerings in several forms and precincts. The use of built forms that generally reflect these uses within their natural themes, warm natural and raw unfinished building materials and built forms which are contemporary and of a subject matter that suit the locale, along with urban design features that inter-connect into these themes all come together to form a unique and pleasant urban place for the tenants, shoppers and residents of the area.
